This should be placed in the household general waste bin as the different material types cannot be easily separated in the recycling process.
General Comment / Tip
If the main body is a single, recyclable material, like plastic, and can be separated from the rest of the waste item, then that piece can be placed in the recycling bin while the rest still goes into general waste. Singular metal elements like springs can also be placed in the recycling bin.
