Compostable liners are bags designed specifically to line food waste caddy or containers.
Ensure you use fully compostable liners (for example, liners that indicate the Cré Ireland logo , or the EN 13432 standard)
Where?
When the liner is full, tie a knot in the liner and place in the food waste recycling bin.
General Comment/Tip.
Instead of compostable liners, you can use newspaper or paper bags or simply go without a liner and wash the container regularly.
