This can come in a few different forms; aerosols, roll-ons which can be glass or plastic and as a stick.
Where?
The are normally made of a few different materials so the general rule is, where possible take them apart.
How?

Roll on’s and sticks – For glass containers, take them apart,the glass part can go to the bottle bank and other parts to the recycle bin. For plastic take them apart and place all parts in the recycle bin.
