Plastics
General Waste

What?

This can come in a few different forms; aerosols, roll-ons which can be glass or plastic and as a stick.

Where?

Aerosols should be brought to a civic amenity / recycling centre.
Roll-ons are normally made of a few different materials so the general rule is, where possible take them apart and recycle the simple plastics or glass components appropriately – either in the household recycling bin for plastics or a bottle bank for glass containers.

If a roll-on cannot be separated out then it should be placed in your general waste bin at home.

How?

For aerosols check here for direction.

Roll on’s and sticks – For glass containers, take them apart, the glass part can go to the bottle bank and other parts to the recycle bin. For plastic take them apart and place all parts in the recycle bin.
