Where?
The plastic lid can be placed in the recycle bin but the tube and seal should go in the general waste bin.
In September 2024 the Pringles® brand introduced a paper based tube and once it is clean dry and loose can now be placed in the recycling bin.
Why?
Tubes that are made up of layers of different materials; paper, plastic and metal cannot be easily separated.
The Pringles® tube is now paper based and is recyclable.
General Comment / Tip
If paper or card become wet or dirty on its way to the sorting facility it may not be recycled.
